What happens on commencement?

When you chose a package and sign the agreement the first payment must be made within 5 working days (prorate rates apply depending on the date of signup). Once the first payment is received and all content is provided the development of the website commences – 2 week lead time on Basic & Medium packages, 3 week lead time on the Large package, and 4 weeks for the online shop.

All lead times are dependant on the customer providing content and availability for proofing.

What happens after the contract period?

Once the contract period has come to an end the customer no longer makes payments to Yolk Media – the customer’s website will stay in operation as long as hosting is maintained and website maintenance is up to date from the customer’s end.

Do the website packages include hosting & maintenance

The website packages do not include hosting and website maintenance – hosting packages are available on the website and website maintenance options will be offered to the customer on sign up.

Can I customize a package to suit my needs?

Of course, Yolk Media is a full-service Marketing Agency, and we are able to build small and extremely extensive websites and platforms all tailored to your needs. Simply drop us an email and we will be in touch to discuss your needs.

How are payments made?

An invoice will be sent out every month on the 25th and is payable by the customer on the 29th of every month.

What happens if I miss a payment?

A reminder email will be sent on the 1st of each month about a missed payment, failing to make payment by the 5th of each month without feedback from the customer will result in the website being suspended – reconnection fees will apply of R150 per reconnection.

Do I have to take out a maintenance contract?

Not at all. If you feel that you are able to manage weekly and monthly updates on your website and make changes then there is no need to take out a maintenance contract – we do stress the importance of website maintenance as there many areas of the website that need constant updating and reviewing, just last year WordPress registered over 1 million website attacks and having outdated updates leaves a website open to security attacks.

Do you offer social media packages?

Yes – each customer is unique in their own way and simply having generic packages does not in our experience deliver the sought-after results that a customer really needs.
